About the University
သတင်းအချက်အလက်နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ် (UIT) သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ICT နယ်ပယ်တွင် ထူးချွန်ထက်မြက်သည့် ပညာရှင်များ မွေးထုတ်ပေးရာ "Center of Excellence" အဆင့်မြင့်တက္ကသိုလ်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဤတက္ကသိုလ်၏ အမည်ကို ၂၀၁၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလ ၁၅ ရက်တွင် တရားဝင်ပြောင်းလဲသတ်မှတ်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ၎င်း၏အစမှာ ၁၉၇၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့သော တက္ကသိုလ်ကွန်ပျူတာဌာန (UCC) မှ ဆင်းသက်လာခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။ ခေတ်အဆက်ဆက်တွင် ကွန်ပျူတာသိပ္ပံနှင့် နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ် (ICST) (၁၉၈၈) နှင့် ရန်ကုန်ကွန်ပျူတာတက္ကသိုလ် (UCSY) (၁၉၉၈) အဖြစ် အဆင့်ဆင့်ပြောင်းလဲခဲ့ပြီးနောက်၊ နိုင်ငံတော်အတွက် လိုအပ်သော ICT လူသားအရင်းအမြစ်များကို ပြိုးထောင်ရန် ၂၀၁၂ ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၃ ရက်တွင် ဗဟန်းနယ်မြေ၌ Center of Excellence အဖြစ် သီးခြားစတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ လက်ရှိတွင် UIT သည် ရန်ကုန်မြို့၊ လှိုင်နယ်မြေ၊ ပရမီလမ်းတွင် တည်ရှိပြီး ICT နယ်ပယ်၏ အဓိကသုတေသနဗဟိုဌာနအဖြစ် ရပ်တည်လျက်ရှိသည်။ တစ်နှစ်လျှင် ဘွဲ့ကြိုကျောင်းသားပေါင်း ၂၀၀ ခန့် မွေးထုတ်ပေးနေရုံသာမက ဘွဲ့လွန်ဒီပလိုမာ၊ မဟာဘွဲ့နှင့် ဒေါက်တာဘွဲ့ သင်တန်းများကိုလည်း အောက်ပါအထူးပြုဘာသာရပ်များဖြင့် သင်ကြားပို့ချပေးလျက်ရှိသည်။ * Software Engineering (ဆော့ဖ်ဝဲအင်ဂျင်နီယာပညာ) * Cyber Security (ဆိုင်ဘာလုံခြုံရေး) * Embedded Systems * High-Performance Computing * Knowledge Engineering နှင့် Communication and Networking စသည်တို့ဖြစ်သည်။ တက္ကသိုလ်၏ ရည်မှန်းချက်ဆောင်ပုဒ်မှာ “ICT နည်းပညာဆိုင်ရာ ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှုဖြင့် ပိုမိုတောက်ပသော အနာဂတ်ဆီသို့” ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ UIT သည် အရည်အသွေးရှိသော လူသားအရင်းအမြစ်များ မွေးထုတ်ရန်၊ သုတေသနလုပ်ငန်းများကို အားပေးရန်နှင့် တက္ကသိုလ်နှင့် လုပ်ငန်းခွင်အကြား ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ တိုးမြှင့်ရန် ကတိကဝတ်ပြုထားသည်။ ထို့အပြင် သမာဓိရှိမှု (Integrity)၊ လေးစားမှု (Respect)၊ ထူးချွန်မှု (Excellence)၊ ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှု (Innovation) နှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု (Collaboration) ဟူသော အဓိကတန်ဖိုး (၅) ရပ်ကို အခြေခံ၍ သင်ကြားသင်ယူမှုနှင့် သုတေသနပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကောင်းများကို ဖန်တီးပေးလျက်ရှိပါသည်။
