About the University
ရန်ကုန်ကွန်ပျူတာတက္ကသိုလ် (UCSY) ကို ၁၉၇၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် တက္ကသိုလ်ကွန်ပျူတာဌာန (UCC) အဖြစ် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ သတင်းအချက်အလက်နည်းပညာကဏ္ဍတွင် အဓိကကျသော တက္ကသိုလ်တစ်ခုအဖြစ် တဖြည်းဖြည်းပြောင်းလဲလာခဲ့သည်။ ၁၉၈၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် ကွန်ပျူတာသိပ္ပံနှင့် နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ် (ICST) အဖြစ်လည်းကောင်း၊ ၁၉၉၈ ခုနှစ် ဇူလိုင်လ ၁ ရက်နေ့တွင် ရန်ကုန်ကွန်ပျူတာတက္ကသိုလ် (UCSY) အဖြစ်လည်းကောင်း အဆင့်ဆင့်တိုးမြှင့်ခဲ့သည်။ သိပ္ပံနှင့်နည်းပညာဝန်ကြီးဌာန လက်အောက်ရှိ ဤတက္ကသိုလ်သည် နိုင်ငံတော်ကို ICT နည်းပညာဖြင့် ခေတ်မီဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်စေရန်အတွက် ကျင့်ဝတ်နှင့်အညီ အစဉ်လေ့လာသင်ယူနေသော ကွန်ပျူတာပညာရှင်များ မွေးထုတ်ပေးရန် ရည်မှန်းချက်ထားရှိပါသည်။ ပညာရေးကဏ္ဍတွင် သင်ကြားရေးဘာသာစကားအဖြစ် အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာကို အသုံးပြုပြီး ဘွဲ့ကြိုသင်တန်းများကို ၁၉၈၆ ခုနှစ်တွင်လည်းကောင်း၊ မဟာဘွဲ့သင်တန်းများကို ၁၉၇၃ ခုနှစ်တွင်လည်းကောင်း စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ကာ ၂၀၀၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် ပါရဂူ (Ph.D.) သင်တန်းများကို စတင်ခဲ့သည်။ ပညာသင်နှစ်တစ်ခုကို နှစ်ဝက်နှစ်ခုဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားပြီး သင်တန်းကာလမှာ နှစ်ဝက်တစ်ခုလျှင် ၁၈ ပတ်ဖြစ်သည်။ ကျောင်းသားများအား အကဲဖြတ်ရာတွင် နောက်ဆုံးစစ်ဆေးသည့် စာမေးပွဲများအပြင် ကျောင်းတက်မှန်ကန်မှု၊ လက်တွေ့လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်များနှင့် တာဝန်ပေးချက် (Assignments) များအပေါ်တွင်လည်း အခြေခံ၍ စနစ်တကျ အကဲဖြတ်ပါသည်။ တက္ကသိုလ်၏ အဓိကရည်မှန်းချက်များမှာ လူသားအရင်းအမြစ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်စေရန်၊ နိုင်ငံတကာအဆင့်မီ သုတေသနလုပ်ငန်းများ ဆောင်ရွက်ရန်နှင့် စက်မှုလုပ်ငန်းများနှင့် တက္ကသိုလ်များအကြား ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု မြှင့်တင်ရန်တို့ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ရန်ကုန်ကွန်ပျူတာတက္ကသိုလ်သည် ရိုးသားဖြောင့်မတ်မှု၊ တစ်သက်တာသင်ယူမှုနှင့် တီထွင်ဆန်းသစ်မှု စသည့်တန်ဖိုးများကို အခြေခံ၍ ယနေ့အထိ ဘွဲ့ရပညာရှင်ပေါင်း ၂၀,၀၀၀ ကျော်ကို မွေးထုတ်ပေးနိုင်ခဲ့ပြီး ဖြစ်သည်။
