About the Academy
The Defence Services Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science (also described as the Defence Services Nursing and Paramedical Academy) is located in Mingaladon, Yangon, and is one of Myanmarβs military-run institutes of higher learning. It was founded in 2000 as the Defence Services Institute of Nursing and expanded in 2002 to add paramedical science and pharmacy degree programs.
